The CAT benefits
from the diverse and talented people that make up its Industrial
Advisory Board, scientists and administrative staff. It is
directed by Professor Harry D. Gafney.
The CAT draws on faculty and staff expertise at several CUNY
campuses, with CAT headquarters at City College. About 20
photonics faculty provide the CAT with unique scientific and
technical capabilities. CAT faculty, along with dozens of
post-doctoral associates and students, conduct photonics applied
research and development work applicable to products and processes
for industry.
