Since its inception,
the CAT has leveraged over $20M in federal funding. These
funds extend the research capabilities and services we offer
New York State companies.
The CAT has been critical to successful applications for large
federal grants, including two 5-year Centers awarded by NASA
and the Department of Defense in 2003, as well as over 60
other awards.
Some of the grant programs related to the work of the CAT
are presented below. These grants are awarded through the
Institute for Ultrafast
Spectroscopy and Lasers (IUSL):
The City University of New York supports photonics faculty
and programs through the CUNY
Flagship Photonics Initiative.
